At Pet Club UK Ltd. we take security very seriously.  We aim to provide a safe online shopping and interactive environment to all of our users.

Your browser will enter secure mode automatically as soon as you access the 'checkout' or 'login' pages.  All personal information or payment details will be included in this secure mode.  You can double check you are in secure mode by viewing a locked padlock or key icon in the bottom bar of your screen.

All payment information is encoded using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL).  All credit and debit card information will not be stored on our database.  Rather, it will be stored in encrypted form in an external database away from our web site, so it isn't connected to the internet.  All card transactions are issued a digital certificate, ensuring that your data can only be read by our transaction system as long as your browser shows its secure mode symbol.

Pet Club UK Ltd. is committed to all of its members and users.  We respect your privacy and explain below what information we collect from you and how we use it.

What information do we collect?
  • Any user is able to input their e-mail address into our newsletter system.
  • Registered members will have given their name, address, contact number and e-mail address.  We will also ask members to fill in a questionnaire telling us about them and the pets they keep or would like to keep.  Questions regarding the web site will also be asked.
  • Shoppers will be asked to provide their name, address, contact number and e-mail address.  Credit or Debit card details are not held within our internet or computer system.
  • All users of petclubuk.com will have the option to receive further updates from us. We may ask users for more information or to fill in surveys from time to time.
  • We also use cookies.  These allow us to collect data from our users and what pages on petclubuk.com are visited.  For more information please look under the cookies section below.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are small files which most web sites transfer to their visitor's hard drive.  These will allow us to see what pages on petclubuk.com have been visited.  They will also let us see our user's preferences, such as screen resolution.  This information will allow us to make our web site more personalised to our users.

We will use this information to a reasonable level in our opinion to prevent, fix or take action in relation to such conduct.
