West Oxford Animal Rescue has one less expense to worry about thanks to OrganiPets providing its premium complete cat food free of charge. This long-term sponsorship has enabled WOAR to focus its funds instead on veterinary care for its feline residents.
Kittens Gabby and Ticky are the most recent rescued animals to be given a new life thanks to the dedicated staff at WOAR. The two young cats arrived at the rescue after falling from a balcony and needed urgent attention.
Julie Jones, from WOAR, said: "These two kittens are real fighters and it makes all our voluntary work worthwhile when you see the difference in them both. By OrganiPets supplying us constantly with food we are able to focus more on the never-ending veterinary bills and we are able to help more animals like Gabby and Ticky."
WOAR's Wheatley branch has space for 30 cats, a charity shop and facilities to care for smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. For more than 30 years, animals have been cared for there, given medical treatment and placed in new homes where possible.
WOAR also rescues horses with long-term problems and currently has three Shetland ponies and one horse.
