Silent Brown Crickets are a good, readily available food source for most insectivorous reptiles. They are slightly smaller than the black crickets and their exo-skeleton is not quite as tough. These are the preferred choice for most reptile keepers. As their name suggests, they are a silent variety of cricket, perfect for the household to save you being continually annoyed by the sound of chirping! Like with all foods, it is vital they are in optimum condition and your crickets will need feeding just like your reptile. You can feed your crickets a variety of fruit and vegetables; alternatively you can try a pre-made cricket food available on this site.
